Yoginis in Focus (2024)

Yoginis in Focus presents a compelling collection of eight black-and-white studio portraits, capturing the grace and strength of yoginis. Ottawa-based photographer and yoga teacher Stéphane Ippersiel blends his dual passions to create an intimate study of women in yoga, highlighting both the physical and spiritual aspects of the practice. The monochromatic format enhances the details of each pose, emphasizing the contrast between light and shadow, body and space.

The work will be exhibited at yoga studios in the Ottawa region during 2024 and 2025.
